What Happens At Our Workshops

We’ll begin by introducing Jesmonite and walking you step by step through the terrazzo-making process. No experience is needed — you’ll be fully supported throughout, with clear demonstrations and guidance at every stage.

You’ll choose your colours, mix your materials, and create your own unique terrazzo design using professional tools and moulds. There’s plenty of time to experiment, ask questions, and enjoy the process at your own pace.

Once your pieces are cast, you’ll be shown how to finish and refine them, including sanding and revealing your terrazzo pattern. The focus is on enjoying the process as much as the final result.

The best part — you’ll take your finished pieces home with you at the end of the workshop.

Above all, Craft & Babble is about creativity, slowing down, and taking time out for yourself. Expect a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, plenty of conversation, and a mindful break from everyday life — you’ll leave with something beautiful you’ve made by hand.
